{Camping in Julian} Day One

We joined a camping club a while ago, but so far, our schedule never lined up with their camping schedule. It finally lined up this weekend and we headed to William Heise Campground in Julian, California. My dad put rails on his truck, so he pulled the trailer with his truck and we followed behind in the car. This was Cadence's first camping trip!


Lauren helped Travie fix his truck while we finished loading up the trailer.

While everyone was getting our camp set up, Lauren and I took a moment to have a happy hour "cheers" with our new camping glasses from Pottery Barn.


Our campsite was packed in SUPER tight next to someone else on the back side, but the front side was great and we had plenty of room to move around and set up.



My dad got Chateau Puppy all set up for Cadence.

And then Lauren climbed in to hang out a bit in front of the heater in Chateau Puppy.


Cadence was very content hanging out in her tent with her bed, heater and nightlight.

Lauren and Grandma's camp beds inside all made up and ready for our first night of sleep.


I snuck back outside and took a few pictures of Chateau Puppy at night all lit up. Cadence and my dad slept out there for the night.
