We stopped in San Mateo to get gas and some more medicine for Lauren since she seemed to develop a runny nose over night. San Mateo was a cute town, but oh my goodness, people could not drive in that town and I could not wait to get back on the 101 North! While I ran in to the store, Justin and Lauren waited in the car.

We pulled in to the valet at the Argonaut and loaded all of our things up for the bellman to take to our room when it was ready and we went inside to check in. Surprisingly, they had a room ready for us and gave us an upgrade too! We immediately headed down to the concierge and purchased the CityPass and it included tickets to the Exploritorium so we headed there first. We walked there...and it was quite a walk, about one and a half miles each way. Lauren fell asleep in the stroller on the way there and did not want to wake up once we got there. Once she woke up...she had so much fun exploring with her Daddy!
Her favorite was this black sand and magnet exhibit...until she fell off the little ledge and smacked her head on the concrete floor. Hard! I felt SO bad for her. She recovered eventually, but it was so sad.
We took her all the way to San Francisco to check out the museums and all she wanted to do was play on structural rigging!
This was a cool exhibit. You could shrink down this little screen thing and show what your insides look like!
When we got back to the hotel, it was Kimpton's free Happy Hour! WooHoo!

One thing I love about Kimpton is how much they cater to kids. They sent a little mini-robe up for Lauren, so of course, we had to try it on!
She was not a fan!
After happy hour and relaxing in our room a bit, we headed over to the Cable Car turnaround across the street from our hotel to take Lauren's First Cable Car Ride to Union Square!
Lauren was not too happy about the 45 minute wait, but she loved riding the cable car.
On our ride back, we got on the Powell Market line instead of the Powell Hyde line and ended up down at the Wharf so we had a little bit of a walk back to the hotel. We stopped at In N Out for dinner and poor Lauren hit her head while riding on Daddy's shoulder's on the awning outside of In N Out.

That night Lauren wanted story time, so Justin climbed in bed with her and read her a story about San Francisco that was in our hotel room.
