We planned to leave the house at 9am, but we did not all get out the door until 9:45am. Our plan was to go to Apple Annie's for "apple breakfast" and then go to the pumpkin patch and apple picking. Buy some cider and apple pies and then head home.
We got to Apple Annie's at 10:45am and I go in line while everyone parked. This is where the morning went down hill. First of all...the website said that breakfast was served all day. When we got there, we found out that this is not true during apple season and breakfast ends at 11am. THEN we find out that breakfast ended early today because one of the cooks went home sick. Double Fail!
We get seated and order. Bompie ordered mashed potatoes because that was all he could eat. Justin, Oscar, Mom and I all ordered Country Fried Steak and Kendall ordered grilled cheese. 45 minutes later, they come tell us that they are out of Country Fried Steak. Triple Fail. So Oscar, Justin and I order burgers and Grandma ordered a Turkey Sandwich. I do have to say that the fries were really good. While we waited for our food, we took some pictures.

They brought out an apple pie for us on the house. Honestly, that was a little disappointing because our bill was still $60. Working in the hospitality industry must have jaded me, because I expected a few meals to be comped or something. Oh and they "found" a country fried steak and brought that over as we were leaving too.
Next we went out to the cars because we were going to drive to the apple farm. Then we realized that the town was jam packed and we could see where we were going to drive, so I ran back to Mom and Dad's car and told them to stay put and we were going to walk instead. We went across the street to a store and resort and looked around and Lauren started screaming, so she got fed...while everyone waited...
When she was all done, Oscar loaded her up in the front pack and we walked to Law's Farm to get some Apple Cider. They were doing a tasting. The unfiltered stuff was so good. Justin and I bought one gallon of filtered and one gallon of unfiltered. Yummy! It was super foggy out and I really think it added a special magical/whimsical feel to our "Fall, Cold, Apple Fun Day".
She fell asleep instantly.

Next we headed back to the cars to head to Los Rios Ranchos. We were going to apple pick but it was quite costly, no one really cared, Dad was not feeling to well, as he had surgery just over a week ago, so we decided not to apple pick. We did wander around the farm in the fog.
Lauren traveled in style...and slept the entire time.
Bompie ventured off as usual. This time, it was in the fog..so it was harder to keep track of him.
The stroller did well in its off-roading endeavors.

Our new tradition...a family picture at the Farm. I want to frame this picture and put it out each Fall with our decorations. We will add a new picture to the collection each year.

And then we headed across the street to the other part of Los Rios Ranchos where the store and more apple farms are. Grandma and Bompie blazed their own trail...
...while Kendall, Oscar, Justin and Lauren took the path. I ran back and forth taking lots of pictures.
We ran in to Harry and Ione's Granddaughters and Great Grandson along the way.
When we told Lauren that Carson was her future boyfriend...this was her reaction. Priceless! Carson is 20 days younger than Lauren.
We took more pictures on some hay with pumpkins and in the shade by an old fence.
Her bib says "I am so cute its spooky".
Lauren ate again...and then we headed home and promised to come back again next year but next year, we will get an earlier start so we do not miss breakfast.
