SDSU Aztecs Football & Skyshow

Today is one of my favorite days of the year. It is Skyshow Day!!! There is also a San Diego State Football game too, we try to go to one SDSU game per season and we always try to go to the Skyshow. We were able to get military seats for $6 a person!!! And we were Row 13 on the 50 yard line. WooHoo. We got all dressed up in our SDSU gear and waited for Grandma and Bompie and Auntie and Travie to get here so we could go. Before they arrived, I tried to get a nice picture of me and my little Aztec fan...it did not go so well. She hated her bow.






We made a quick stop at a drivethru for some lunch and then headed to Qualcomm Stadium for the big game!

Lauren had lunch in her booster in the bed of Travie's truck.



Lauren was too distracted to pose for pictures. I did change her bow before we left and she was much happier.



We were trying to get a nice family picture for our football frame...when all of a sudden, she pushed Justin out of the picture!

She thought that was HILARIOUS!



She was so excited about the airplane circling the stadium pulling a banner!

We played football in the parking lot for a while...


...and tried to keep Lauren entertained without getting hit by a car...







Soon, it was time to go in to the stadium for the big game against the University of Hawaii!




Lauren loved shaking her poppom in my face!


She is getting really good at using binoculars.


Around half time, she started getting restless, so they made silly cheers up, played "bubbles" on the phone and had a snack...then she went on walks with Grandma and Bompie.

After the Aztecs won, we moved to some empty seats in the end zone so we could see the Skyshow better. While they were setting up the fireworks on the field, they dropped a bunch of balls in to the crowd and Lauren was going crazy. She was so so so excited!


Soon, it was time to put on her ear protection for the big show. They shoot off fireworks all around the top of the stadium, outside the stadium AND inside the stadium, all choreographed to rock music. This was the best year yet. Lauren loved it.
