Easter 2013

Easter was simple this year. It sort of snuck up on us. With surgery being just a few days before, the whole family just took it easy. We spent the weekend in Temecula finishing up projects that did not get finished the week before when I was up there recovering from surgery and then on Eater morning it was basket time for Lauren!








She was super excited for her sand castle building supplies!









She was also very excited about her Princess and the Pea Floor Puzzle.

After we did her basket and a sort-of egg hunt...where she hunted a few eggs and then determined it was more fun for her to hide them and us to find them...we headed out to Camp Pendleton to check out our camp site at the beach in a few weeks. After we did that, we headed to the Giese's where we had a lovely Easter dinner. The crew was there and it was so great. Chaotic but great. My parents brought the puppies, and it was just wild. Tank fell in the pool and pretty much sank, so I went in after him...it was just kind of chaos. So we missed family pictures, but we were all dressed in navy, white, and coral.

I did get a few pictures of Lauren opening her Easter gift from Grammie and Grampie. It was a Thomas the Train book play set that Lauren just adores.
