Girl on the Move

This sweet little girl is ON THE MOVE! She can crawl...up on her knees like a big girl. She scoots and crawls to get any little fleck of crumb, paper or plastic she can find on the floor.

She moves, she moves fast...and she can pull herself up too! The first few days of pulling up were a little rough because she was afraid to sit down, so she would cry for me to help her...when she did let go and flop to her hiney, I would clap...so that she knew it was okay and to not be scared. Now she sits down and claps for herself...and then climbs up, flops down and claps...for HOURS she will do this and it is so cute.




And yes, that is the air mattress in there. Little missy has not been feeling well, and neither has mommy, so the two sickies sleep in the big bed at night and daddy sleeps on the air mattress in Lauren's room temporarily. Poor Lauren will not let me leave her side when she is sick. If I am not touching her, she will not sleep. Period. It does not matter how tired she is...she will wake up and start screaming instantly, so we gotta do what we gotta do...and then she is back to her crib.
