Oh my goodness! This girl is on a nap strike! Today, I put Lauren down for her nap and she was just not having it. She was hysterical. Her diaper was clean, her belly was full, she refused a sip of water, she just did not want to take a nap. So after about a half an hour of this shenanigans, Justin went in to get her out of bed to let her play for a while. He sat her on the floor and she continued her meltdown, so he came back in to our room. A few moments later, Lauren realized that he had left, so she got up, still hysterical and toddled in to our room and proceeded to continue her meltdown in the doorway to our room. At this point, I grab the camera, because it is just too funny.
Soon, she realized that Justin could not see her, so she rolled over a few times to make sure that he could see her too. She made eye contact with him and then proceed to cry harder and louder than ever before.
Eventually, she crawled over to me and up on to my lap where I carried her back to her bed and she instantly fell asleep.
Aw, poor Lauren. Maybe being sick messed up her nap. M has the crud again and she skipped yesterday's nap too. These girls are conspiring against us.
