An evening at Seaworld

We headed to Seaworld this evening. I love having a pass because we just go when we want and today we headed there after Lauren woke up from her nap. We did not arrive until around 5pm. The first thing we did was head over to the 4D theater to watch a Sesame Street movie. Lauren liked the movie, but did not like the glasses.

Our next stop was the Blue Horizons dolphin show. We had to get there super early to get a seat, so Lauren and I hung out while Justin went to get some dinner. Lauren and I had french fries and Justin had a sandwich.

Lauren stood on the bench next to the rail to watch the show and she LOVED it. She kept saying "Bii ish, uh Wayyyyy Up" which translates to "Big Fish, jumps way up!" She said it over and over again. She clapped, she danced, she was in total awe.

I looked over and she had grabbed her Daddy's hand to hold.

After the show, we wandered around for a while. We were going to try to go to the first Shamu Rocks Show, but it filled up super quickly, so we decided to head over to the Bay of Play, hoping the crowds would have gone down a bit. After all, it was 8:30pm. We decided to ride this spinning, rocking ride and Lauren really enjoyed it!

Then we went over to this air matress/water bed thing specifically for the little kids. Lauren had SO much fun on it that I left her and Justin there and went over to the second Shamu Rocks show to save seats while they continued to play til the last minute.

Shamu Rocks is awesome. It is the night time Shamu Show and there are lights and rock music and LED screens. Lauren loved it as much this time as last time.

We stayed in our seats to watch the fireworks after the show. It was the last night they were doing them for the Summer, and this was the first and last time we would see them on our season passes.

After the show, we headed back over to Bay of Play to let Lauren play some more. She had SO much fun, we just could not leave without letting her play some more.

I carried Lauren up this intense rope ladder and then we played on some suspension bridges. By this point it was 10:30pm so we decided to head home.

We were so sure Lauren would fall asleep on the way home that we gave her a wet cloth "bath" in the trunk before we headed home, but she talked about the "Biii ish, wayyyy up" the whole 20 minute drive home! We gave her a bath, a snack, and she was out cold!
