A Weekend Filled with Cereal

Daddy decided that it was time to try real food...well real baby's first food. I was hesitant. I am not sure if it was because I do not want to you grow up too soon, or if it was because I just did not think you were ready yet, or I just do not like change. Daddy won and we went to Sprouts on Sunday to get you some rice cereal. Now, we did not just get you any old supermarket rice cereal...Mommy insisted on Organic Brown Rice Cereal. None of that stripped down white junk was going in to your little mouth...No mam!

We got you all ready...
BIB-Check!
BOWL-Check!
SPOON-Check!
ORGANIC BROWN RICE CEREAL-Check!
HIGH CHAIR- Uhhhhh?

Uncle Oscar held you. Daddy fed you. Auntie Kendie videoed. Mommy snapped pictures. Bompie and Grandma cheered you on and laughed and loved every moment. You? Well...we will let the pictures do the talking.

STOP! Reposition...the lighting is no good! Okay...Continue.

After you spit out each bite, you would play with your tongue. Perhaps it was out of curiosity of the new texture, or maybe you actually like the taste?

I do not think you were a fan of the organic brown rice cereal. Daddy said that he did not think you ever swallowed any of it. You just spit it back out, or let it run back out of your mouth.

You let us know you were done by making a stinkie poopie and everyone wanted to run away! Grandma to the rescue. She changed you and cleaned you up, just in time to turn on the Super Bowl!
