Family Christmas Pictures

Now that my cards have all been mailed out...I thought I would share some of the not-so-great pictures from this year. To say that getting a decent picture was a challenge is a major understatement. We had meltdowns, meal breaks and plenty of out takes. Hopefully, next year will be a little easier.
At the start we had closed eyes...

Missing: Justin's Head

...and a very distracted baby.

We had a missing Daddy...

...a strange pose and a see through shirt...

...and one very hungry little girl.

"ugh...this is not going to work"

So we took a break to eat...

...and then she fell asleep...

...she woke back up...

...but refused to smile...

...so she played with daddy for a while to see if we could get her in a better mood...



...mommy took a picture of her cute shoes...

...and then we tried again...

...and she was having none of it...

...so we took a break to eat some more...

...finally, mommy threw herself on the floor and decided that out of the hundreds of pictures taken, and the 3 hours spent trying to get a smile out of Lauren...one of them would HAVE to work.

...and although this picture was front and center on the card...what you do not know is that she was screaming mad.

We did have a few winners...
