Then she decided that it was time to get down and GO! So we brought her walker outside to cruise around on the giant driveway. First stop, saying hi to the bunnies!
Then she took off to explore her new found freedom outside.
She really got going! And then she lost a sock.
She headed over to the plants and plucked a leaf off a succulent and attempted to pop it in her mouth. Grandma caught her just in time.
Lauren does not have shoes yet, because she is not walking, and I am not spending $40 for a pair of shoes to look cute, so we put her in double socks...but she was going so fast, she wore holes in her socks. No fear! Bompie to the rescue.
Showing off her new "moon shoes" (duct tape enforced socks)...actually, she was trying to get back down to play in her walker.
They worked well.
I just love this one! In 15 years, she will be pulling up the driveway in her real car waving at her Bompie and Grandma.
The hose served as a barrier from her shooting off the end of the driveway, where it slopes.
After all the exploring, the girl was hungry, so she fed herself avocado, and Grandma let her make a MESS! Mommy never allows her to get this messy.
Those are great pictures! Love her "shoes". She really gets around in that walker!
ReplyDeleteAnd that picture of her waving to her Bompie is too precious!
