Today was the day you were supposed to be born. Today was the "cool" due date. 8-9-10. Oh well, we are so happy that you are here and are already 5 days old!
Today we took you out for the very first time. We went to Kohls to get you some newborn sized clothes because all of your clothes were 0-3 months and they did not fit. We also went to Babies R Us and bought more clothes. People were commenting on how cute you were and they were surprised that we had you out and running around, especially because Mommy had a C-Section. But the truth of the matter is, I feel great and I love taking you out and doing activities with you. You are such a good baby and sleep like a champ while we are out in public or at home.
After we shopped, we went to Rosa's Cantina and had lunch out on the patio. We sat outside so you could have fresh air and hopefully prevent you from being exposed to whopping cough. It is going around and we do not want you to get sick from it. You sat in your carseat on the table and did not make a peep the entire time. We had a bottle ready just in case you got hungry, but you didn't.
When we got home, daddy fed you.
