Our second day as a family (day 3 in the hospital) (August 6th), started out with mommy begging/pleading/tearing up during her morning check up with Dr. Dunn. Mommy was seriously begging to go home early. Mommy had enough of the hospital food, the constant alarms, pokes, prods and interruptions. Mommy had the same night nurse again and was just too through. She just wanted to get the heck out of the hospital and spend time with you. Mommy was worried that she would not get to go home if she had not pooped yet. Dr. Dunn said that as long as mommy passed gas, she would get to go home Saturday morning instead of Sunday morning, like Dr. Beaumont first said. Luckily, mommy had already passed her obligatory gas, so she was in the clear to go home. This made mommy very happy and made day 3 in the hospital a lot more manageable.
No one was coming to visit us that day, so we spent our day taking lots and lots of photos taking of you, our adorable little bundle of love.

And lots of video tapes too.

Then her daddy took over holding you...and you started making the cutest, funniest, adorable little faces that mommy just had to keep snapping away...

You snoozed, while daddy was down in the cafeteria having lunch, while mommy had lunch and filled out your birth certificate paperwork.

And we wrapped up the evening with some more picture taking and video taping of you...and all your cuteness!
